As it is Best of British Month what better way to celebrate than a meeting of some of the finest bloggers in the land, in one of the finest old drinking holes in London. A motley crew gathered on Saturday in Gordon's Wine Bar on Villiers Street and toasted the prodigal daughter, Sam (with Fred in tow) from Becks and Posh upon her brief, but very welcome, visit to Blighty. Also in the house where Andrew of Spittoon, Celia of English Patis, Christina of The Thorngrove Table, Jeanne of Cook Sister, Johanna of Passionate Cook, Keiko of Nordljus and Anna from Baking for Britain. A good time was had by all and one or two where a touch wobbly on leaving the establishment clutching their boxes of Michael Recchiuti chocolates that Sam had schlepped all the way from San Fran for us. Out of the gossip, back slapping and merriment can some rather good ideas for a few posts. Watch out for Fish in a Dishwasher...
